'At Dame Elizabeth we ensure we cover thoroughly all the latest and most relevant issues in both PSHEE, Citizenship and SMSC. From Sex and Relationship Education (SRE) to Prevention of Extremism, students are delivered tailored, age-appropriate sessions on our Topic Days to ensure they are all well equipped with the tools to deal with a challenging and ever changing world.

 

A few of the issues we are focusing on this year through our Topic Days are:

• British Values,

• Drug and Alcohol awareness,

• Careers and Skills development,

• Preventing Extremism,

• LGBT Celebration of Diversity,

• First and Emergency Aid,

• Financial Planning and Capability

• Religious Diversity and Multicultural Britain

• Sex and Relationships Education,

 

These sessions complement the Social Studies curriculum which students also enjoy throughout years 7 and 8.
