Faculty Leader: Mr Ali
In Design and Technology we aim to develop the skills of designing and making through an engaging and inspiring curriculum. This allows clear career paths to further education and the world of work. The Design and Technology Faculty encompasses the areas of Resistant Materials, Food Technology, Textiles, Engineering, Electronics and Product Design.
In year 7 and 8 all students engage in an immersive curriculum that allows them to study all of the separate focus areas and develop their knowledge, skills and understanding in each. In year 9 students can choose to study a range of level 2 courses.
